Liesl Binx has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Liesl started their career in 2014 as a Merchandise Coordinator at BDA, Inc., where they developed promotional products for sporting and corporate events and sourced products domestically and overseas. In 2015, they also worked as an SKU Creation Specialist, creating and maintaining accurate SKUs in Oracle PLM & EBS. Later, in a temporary role as a Product Development Coordinator, they managed pre-costing documents and assisted with sourcing products and client product shows.

In 2016, Liesl joined Golden Touch Imports, Inc. as an Assistant Technical Designer, focusing on sweaters, cut & sew, and tops, bottoms & dresses. Their responsibilities included measuring and reviewing samples, conducting fittings on live models, and communicating with agents and vendors about tech pack contents and pattern corrections.

From 2017 to 2021, Liesl worked as a Technical Designer at RDG Global. Liesl established fit standards for the junior and junior plus division, worked closely with the head designer to execute designs, and managed tech packs to maintain accuracy.

Currently, Liesl is a Technical Designer at Steve Madden, where they devise fit schedules, collaborates with senior designers to translate designs into tech packs, and reviews and assesses sample fits.

Liesl Binx began their education in 2009 when they attended Seattle Central College. Liesl graduated in 2011 with an Associate of Arts degree in Sociology. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, Liesl studied at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. Liesl obtained an Associate of Arts Professional Designation degree in Fashion/Apparel Design.
