Lucy Barnes

Lucy Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, they are working as the Legal CoSec Head at Stevens & Bolton LLP, starting in August 2023. Lucy previously held the role of Legal Projects Manager Corporate at the same company from June 2021 to September 2023. In addition to their legal roles, Lucy has also served as a School Governor at The Old Vicarage School, Richmond since June 2021. Prior to that, they were a Trustee/Director and Company Secretary at Step by Step Partnership Ltd from May 2020. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a freelance Interview Skills Coach. Lucy also has experience in treasury and consultancy roles. Lucy served as the Treasurer for Friends of the Old Vicarage School from September 2018 to September 2020 and as a Consultant at BARNES COSEC LIMITED from July 2019 to May 2020. Additionally, Lucy has been involved in various positions at ST MICHAEL & ALL ANGELS CHURCH, including Safeguarding Officer and Parochial Church Council Committee Member. Lucy'searlier experience includes a long tenure at Slaughter and May as a Learning and Development Manager from 2003 to July 2019. Lucy also held committee member roles at Friends of the Old Vicarage School from 2016 to 2017 and from 2015 to 2016.

Lucy Barnes attended Downe House School in Berkshire from 1986 to 1993. Lucy then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics at the University of Bristol, graduating in 1997. From 1997 to 1999, they attended the College of Law in York, where they completed the Common Professional Examination and Legal Practice Course.
