Zahra Pournorouz

Zahra Pournorouz, Ph.D., currently serves as a Teaching Assistant Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology since September 2022. Prior roles include Assistant Professor at Tarleton State University from January 2019 to August 2022, where instruction encompassed various engineering subjects and mentoring students in their academic paths. Zahra also held a non-tenure track position at Tarleton State University, focusing on similar courses while maintaining laboratory facilities. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant position at The University of Texas at Arlington from January 2015 to August 2018, involving research on thermo-physical properties, as well as internships in both academic and private sectors. Zahra holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
