Windley Hofler Walden

Windley Hofler Walden has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. They began their career as a Federal Law Clerk for the U.S. District Courts in 1998, working under the Honorable J. Calvitt Clarke, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. They then worked as an Associate Attorney at Kaufman & Canoles from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, they joined Riddick Babineau PC as an Attorney/Legal Research and Writing Partner, and stayed with the firm until 2015. During this time, from 2003 to 2005, they also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at William & Mary Law School. In 2015, they transitioned to a different career path and became a High School English Teacher at Suffolk Public Schools, a role they held until 2017. They also founded their own law firm, Seriatim Law, in 2015 and served as an Attorney/Owner until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Law Clerk to the President Judge at the County of Lancaster. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Professional Development and Associate Recruiting at Stevens & Lee, which they started in July 2022.

Windley Hofler Walden attended the William & Mary Law School and earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, majoring in English Literature. For their primary education, Walden attended Nansemond-Suffolk Academy. In addition to their educational qualifications, Walden holds certifications from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, as well as the Commonwealth of Virginia through the Virginia State Bar.
