Gail Evans has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Gail has held various roles at different companies throughout their career.
From 2015 to the present, Gail has worked as the Senior Director of Regional Operations at Steward Health Care. In this role, they are responsible for managing the success of network providers under managed care and risk-bearing contracts. Gail leads multiple regions, overseeing physician practices and hospitals to meet performance goals and maximize patient and provider satisfaction.
Prior to that, Gail worked at BMC HealthNet Plan/Well Sense Health Plan from 2007 to 2015. As the Director of Provider Relations, they developed relationships between network providers and executive team members. Gail also provided leadership and direction to the provider relations team in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, overseeing their success in marketing and community relationship efforts.
In 2006, Gail worked at Neighborhood Health Plan as a Business Development Sr. Project Manager. Gail was responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a pilot Community Health Center Urgent Care Grant Program. Gail secured $4 million in funding and also worked on other initiatives such as a Domestic Violence Program and Member Retention Program.
Earlier in their career, Gail held positions at Neighborhood Health Plan as the Project Director for the Campaign for Excellence from 2002 to 2005. Gail oversaw the development and implementation of quality improvement projects for community health centers. Gail also worked as the Director of Program Development from 1999 to 2001, where they developed strategic partnerships with Community Health Centers in Massachusetts.

Gail Evans has a Master of Science degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Simmons College Graduate Studies. Gail also holds a Certificate in Women's Executive Leadership Program from Bentley University. In addition, they have a Certificate from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation in the Massachusetts Institute for Community Health Leadership. Gail Evans obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy.
