Melissa B. Dawson

Melissa B. Dawson, LICSW, serves as the Executive Director and President of Angels Anonymous Inc. since March 2015, leading a non-profit charity in Fall River, MA dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals in need. Concurrently, Melissa has held the position of Medical Social Worker and Behavioral Health Navigator at Steward Health Care since May 2016. In addition, Melissa has been engaged with the National Association of Social Workers - Massachusetts Chapter as Southeast Regional Staff since August 2012, where responsibilities include liaising with social workers, planning continuing education programs, and recruiting new members. Melissa has been a Clinical Social Worker for the Town of Stoughton since May 2008 and acted as a Faculty Advisor at Boston University School of Social Work from June 2014 to May 2019. Melissa holds a Master’s in Social Work from Boston University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
