Michael Cudworth M.D., Facs

Michael Cudworth MD FACS is a board-certified bariatric and general surgeon with extensive experience in minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques. Currently serving as a bariatric and general surgeon at Steward Health Care, Michael held previous positions at BMI Center LLC and Clara Maass Medical Center, where responsibilities included general and bariatric surgery. Michael completed an advanced minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and participated in a general surgery residency at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System. Early clinical experience includes a role as a house officer in surgical acute care at Hospital Sótero del Río in Chile. Michael obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and a bachelor's degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
