Azizbek Bakiyev

Azizbek Bakiyev is an experienced finance and advisory professional currently serving as Vice President and Partner at Steward Partners Global Advisory since September 2022. Prior to this role, Azizbek held the position of Director at Astana Hub, leading initiatives related to international relations, investment, and export. Azizbek's previous experience includes working as a Private Sector Development Consultant for The World Bank, where contributions significantly improved Kazakhstan's ranking in the Doing Business index. Azizbek has also served as Senior Portfolio Manager at the Sovereign Wealth Fund "Samruk-Kazyna," and has held various leadership roles in retail and commercial banking across institutions such as HSBC and RBS.
