Manuel Morgano is a Group Leader for Neutron Engineering Diffraction and Imaging at STFC, a position held since 2024. Previously, they served as an Instrument Scientist for ODIN at the European Spallation Source ERIC from 2021 to 2024, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Paul Scherrer Institut from 2012 to 2021, where they focused on polarized-neutron imaging research. Manuel also completed a Postdoctoral stint at INFN in 2012, advancing lithography processes for semiconductors. They earned a Ph.D. in Nanostructures and Nanotechnologies and a Master's degree in Physics from the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
