Odair Fernandes worked as a Project Manager and Business Analyst at STgenetics starting in December 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Research Associate at Texas A&M University - Humanitarian Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory from May 2018 to November 2019. In this role, they conducted independent and supervisory research activities, managed research equipment, and supervised graduate students. Before moving to the United States, Odair studied Computer Science at Universidade Católica de Angola from 2007 to 2008.
In terms of certifications, Odair received several. Odair holds the Certified SAFe 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., acquired in November 2022. In December 2022, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Odair also received the Daylight Waiver certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in September 2019 and the FAA CFR Part 107 certification in October 2018. Odair also obtained the CLL Airspace Authorization certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in March 2019.
