Saskia Doodeman

Saskia Doodeman has extensive experience in conservation and restoration, particularly in glass art. Currently serving as Secretaris Ondernemingsraad and Project restaurator for Tropenmuseum, Afrika Museum, and Museum Volkenkunde since September 2017, Saskia has worked on notable exhibitions such as "Diva’s 2023," "Helende kracht," and "Hair Power." Additionally, Saskia operates a private studio specializing in the conservation and restoration of glass materials from the Middle Ages to present. With prior roles ranging from Junior Glazier to Conservation Restoration trainee at various prestigious institutions, Saskia holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Conservation-Restoration (Glass Art) from the University of Antwerp, along with foundational education in Fine Art and graphic design.
