Valeria Posada Villada is a knowledgeable curator with extensive experience in the field of photography and museum practices. Currently serving as the Curator of Photography at Stichting Nationaal Museum van Wereldculturen since April 2023 and as Curator of Public Practice at Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam since July 2021, Valeria oversees public programs aimed at engaging diverse audiences in the art of photography. Previous roles include Arts Curatorial Researcher at Museo Nacional de Colombia, where Valeria contributed to the research and display of Modern and Contemporary Art, and Outreach Coordinator for a PhD workshop at AcademicTransfer. Valeria has also held positions at the Prince Claus Fund, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Metropolitan Touring, Fuerza Aérea Colombiana, and Saint Claire and Colonial Museum, focusing on audience participation, curatorial research, and cultural tourism. Valeria holds a Master of Arts in Museology from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Universidad de Los Andes.
