Maartje Dekens-Buiten

Maartje Dekens-Buiten serves as the school leader at LIFEschool since March 2024, overseeing 16 discipleship schools across the Netherlands alongside Hans Maat. Maartje is the owner of Maartje Dekens | communicatie, where a passion for language and communication is key. As the editor of Opwekking Magazine and team leader for marketing and communication at Stichting Opwekking, Maartje plays a significant role in strategic communication initiatives. Additional experience includes serving as Marketing Manager in the Netherlands and Country Coach for Europe at The Global Leadership Network (September 2019 - May 2024), Corporate Communications Manager at SURFmarket (January 2010 - January 2018), and other communication roles, including PR Consultant and communicatiemedewerker. Maartje holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Evangelisch College (2019 - 2024) and has completed various communication-related education programs.
