Betty van Nieuwenhuizen

Betty van Nieuwenhuizen has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as a member of the College van Bestuur at OVO Zaanstad since September 2017. Prior to this role, Betty was involved in regional policy development as a bestuurslid at Vereniging OSVO from 2013 to August 2017. From 2009 to August 2017, Betty held key positions at Scholengemeenschap Reigersbos, including directeur-bestuurder and directeur onderwijs, focusing on strategic policy development and educational quality. Betty's earlier career at OVO Zaanstad spanned nearly two decades, where responsibilities included developing a shared vision for underbouwafdelingen and enhancing educational policies. Betty's educational credentials include an Msc in Educational Management from the Nederlandse School voor Onderwijsmanagement and a Doctorandus degree in Dutch language and literature from the University of Amsterdam.
