Stichting Technasium
Alexandra den Heijer serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Stichting Technasium since September 2019, contributing to the advancement of education in technical sciences. At Delft University of Technology, Alexandra holds the position of Professor of Public Real Estate, with a current research focus on managing university campuses. Stichting Technasium
Technasium staat voor levensecht bètatechnisch projectonderwijs op havo- en vwo-scholen. Het vak Onderzoek & Ontwerpen (O&O) staat hierbij centraal, van brugklas tot en met het examen. In teams werken leerlingen aan innovatieve oplossingen voor actuele vraagstukken van echte opdrachtgevers. Door deze onderwijsvorm kiezen meer leerlingen voor bètatechnische studies én zijn ze extra gedreven om die studie af te maken. Al ruim honderd middelbare scholen verspreid over heel Nederland hebben het predicaat Technasium en zijn aangesloten bij Stichting Technasium. Met dit netwerk krijgen inmiddels 34.000 leerlingen betekenisvol bètatechnisch onderwijs. [Elke leerling. Toekomstmaker]
