Shaheed Koury

Shaheed Koury, MD, MBA, FACEP, currently serves as Chief Clinical Officer at Adena Health System since January 2023. With extensive experience in healthcare leadership, Koury has held prominent roles including Chief Medical Officer and President of Clinical Operations at Quorum Health, and Vice President for Quality and Clinical Transformation at Community Health Systems. In addition to board positions at CareHarmony, Synchronous Health, Inc., and previous advisory roles at care.ai, Koury is also the owner and board member of Professional Medical Billing. Koury completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and holds an MBA in Health Care Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, as well as a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky.
