Erica Polini has worked in a variety of roles since 2002. Erica began their career as a Collaborator at Il Domani di Bologna in 2002, followed by an Information Point role at BolognaFiere in 2004. In 2008, they took on the role of Secretary at S.G. Fortitudo, and in 2011 they began working as an Internship at Cinemovel Foundation. That same year, they also began working as a Conference/Project Manager at European Alliance for Innovation. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Project Manager/Marketing Assistant at Promos/Cersaie, and in 2018 they began their current role as a Customer Service Agent EU at Sticker Mule.

Erica Polini began their educational journey in 2004 when they attained a Bachelor's Degree in Communications (Corso di Laurea in Scienze della Comunicazione) from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Following this, they spent a year at Universitat de Barcelona, where they studied Sociology, History, and Mass Media. In 2007, they completed their Master's Degree in Communications (Scienze della Comunicazione pubblica, politica e sociale) from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. In 2009, they attended Dickinson College for a year to study Sociology and Mass Media.
