Paul Bissett

Paul Bissett is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment banking and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Managing Director and Director of Investment Banking at Stifel Financial Corp. since December 2019, Bissett previously held various positions at GMP Securities from June 2012 to December 2019, including Director and Senior Vice President. Experience also includes a role as Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions at Direct Energy / Centrica plc North America, where Bissett led five acquisitions exceeding $1 billion. Earlier career highlights include advisory services at Deloitte and a board membership at Bond Child and Family Development. Bissett holds a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours from Queen's University, as well as Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator designations.
