Dr. Dierk Jugel

Dr. Dierk Jugel currently serves as the Team Lead for the Big Data Analytics Hub at STIHL, where responsibilities include strategy and coordination, alongside a role as Manager of Data Strategy & Coordination within the Digital Competence Center since October 2018. Dr. Jugel has been a Guest Lecturer in Enterprise Architecture Management at the Knowledge Foundation - Reutlingen University since March 2016, and previously conducted research at Reutlingen University from April 2012 to September 2018. Earlier experience includes a Bachelor Thesis at CAS Software AG in software development and an internship at SAP focused on ABAP Workbench. Dr. Jugel holds a Doctorate in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Universität Rostock and a Master of Science from Reutlingen University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences.
