Liz M.

Liz M. has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Liz began their career at Norman Regional Hospital in 1993, where they worked their way up from Assistant Nurse Manager to Nurse Manager. Liz was responsible for implementing various projects, including computerized Nursing Documentation. In 2003, Liz joined Deaconess Hospital as the Director of Med/Surg/Perioperative Services, where they gained experience in financial accountability and LEAN healthcare. Since 2007, they have been working at Stillwater Medical Center as the Senior Vice President Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer. In this role, they have directed the nursing care and collaborated with other leaders to provide patient care and services. Liz also implemented a Joint Replacement Center of Excellence for Orthopaedic services. Overall, Liz M. has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills throughout their career.

Liz M. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Southern Nazarene University in 1998. Liz then went on to complete their Associate of Science in Nursing at Oklahoma State University from 1985 to 1987. Liz later pursued their Master's degree in Management from Southern Nazarene University, which they completed from 1999 to 2001. In 2004, they studied Nursing Administration at Oklahoma City University. Additionally, Liz obtained certification as a Nurse Executive-Advanced through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in October 2006. Liz also completed a leadership program called Leadership Stillwater in 2016.
