Mark Herndon

Mark Herndon is a seasoned professional in the field of mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as Managing Director at Stillwater Capital since February 2024, where leading the buy-side acquisition advisory practice. With over 25 years of M&A experience, Mark has been involved in more than 80 transactions, handling roles such as transaction lead and due diligence lead in deals varying from $10 million to over $36 billion. Previous leadership positions include Chairman/CEO and Chairman Emeritus with the M&A Leadership Council, where significant contributions included training over 7,500 executives from over 800 companies. As President of M&A Partners and Parkwood Advisors, Mark focused on enhancing M&A capabilities and supporting transactions for corporate acquirers and mid-market companies. Mark's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University and an Executive MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas.
