Jean García Periche

Jean García Periche is an accomplished leader in artificial intelligence and public administration, currently serving as the President of GENIA Latinoamérica, a platform focused on integrating Latin America into the global AI development landscape. With extensive experience as an AI Connect Fellow at the Atlantic Council and a Responsible AI Fellow at The Stimson Center, Jean actively engages in shaping AI policies and ethical frameworks. Jean's contributions extend to various prestigious organizations, including roles as Global Ambassador for AI4Gov_EU and Executive Board Member at the Global AI Ethics Institute. Notably, Jean founded the Centro de Innovación Política, promoting technological innovation and regulatory frameworks. An advocate for responsible AI usage, Jean has also served as a consultant for the Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica, developing the region’s first national AI strategy.
