Jenny Town

Jenny Town serves as the Director of the Korea Program at The Stimson Center, where leadership encompasses a broad range of research related to peace and security on the Korean Peninsula since June 2018. As a Co-founder and Director of 38 North since January 2010, Town also holds various fellowships, including Nonresident Fellow at the Foreign Policy Institute at Johns Hopkins SAIS and Associate Fellow at Freedom House, contributing as an expert reviewer for the Freedom in the World Index. Previous roles include Assistant Director at the U.S.-Korea Institute at SAIS and Communications Consultant for the Human Rights in North Korea Project at Freedom House. Town's educational background includes a Master of International Affairs with a concentration in Human Rights from Columbia SIPA and a B.A. in East Asian Studies and International Relations from Westmar University.
