Mary Boies

Mary Boies serves as Counsel at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP since April 2012 and is a Board Member at The Stimson Center since December 2021. Previously, Mary held various roles, including a member of the Council on Foreign Relations from October 2010 to October 2020, and Managing Partner at Boies and McInnis LLP from January 1988 to April 2012. Other notable positions include Vice President of Corporate Information at CBS Inc. (1981-1985), General Counsel for the U.S. Civil Aeronautics Board (1979-1981), and Assistant Director at The White House Domestic Policy Staff (1977-1979). Early in her career, Mary served as Counsel for the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee from 1975 to 1977. Mary's educational background includes a JD from the University of Washington and two Bachelor's degrees in History and English from the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Washington.
