Matthew Gillie

Matthew Gillie is currently the Director of Engineering at Stingray in Nova Scotia, overseeing various stations such as Q104, Q97, Rewind 89.3, and 96. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as an Engineer at Stingray Radio, supporting transmitter and studio equipment for stations in Newfoundland and Labrador. Matthew also has experience as a Transmitter & Studio Engineer at Newfoundland Broadcasting Co. Ltd., a Communications Technician at Hitech Communications, and an Electronics Technician at Audio Systems Limited. Earlier in their career, Matthew worked as an Announcer at Newcap Radio, specializing in commercial voicing, show hosting, remote hosting, and production. Matthew holds a diploma in Electronics from PCDI Canada and completed coursework in Basic Electronics at Ashworth College.
