Esben Axelgaard

Esben Axelgaard is a Senior Research Scientist at Commit Biologics with previous experience as a Scientific Consultant at STipe Therapeutics and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University. With a background in diabetes, immunology, microbiology, and innate immunology, Esben has focused on projects involving In vivo gene editing with CRISPR/Cas, renal tubular transport of albumin, and the lectin pathway of the complement system. Graduating with a Ph.D. from the Department of Biomedicine at Aarhus University, Esben also holds a Diploma in in Vivo whole body imaging and a Bachelor's degree in Classic Microbiology.
