Prasit Chanda

Prasit Chanda has been working in the software engineering industry since 2008. In 2008, they worked as a Junior Researcher at KU Leuven, Belgium, in the DiCoMas Project, researching secure collaboration of business processes. In 2009, they worked as an Assistant Programmer (Java/C++) at Van Benelux Solution in Leuven, Belgium, programming with Java and C++ and designing, developing, and configuring Management Tools. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an ERP Project Coordinator at SPECTRUM LANKA MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS LIMITED (SLMS) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, providing training and lectures, analysing and maintaining the ERP system, and developing new scopes and adaptabilities for existing ERP system. From 2011 to present, they have been working at Stitel Networks, LLC. as a Principal Software Engineer Grade II, Principal Software Engineer Grade I, and Assistant Principle Software Engineer. Their responsibilities include requirements analyzing, planning, designing and implementing mobile applications, web applications/portals and APIs, and Samsung Smart TV Applications, as well as deploying, configuring and maintaining servers.

Prasit Chanda's education history includes a Master of Science in Information Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Independent University, Bangladesh from 2000 to 2004, and O and A Levels in Science from University of London from 1988 to 2000. Prasit also holds certifications from SGS as an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor obtained in April 2017, from Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development as a Rural Development Program LFE obtained in January 2004, and from OPSWAT as an Introduction to Critical Infrastructure Protection obtained in October 2022.
