Shannon Smolar

Critical Care Unit Based Educator RN at St. Luke's Health System

Shannon Smolar possesses extensive experience in the nursing field, particularly in critical care. Since April 2016, Shannon has served as a Critical Care Unit Based Educator RN at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, and has held various roles at St. Luke's Medical Center, including Designated Charge RN and SICU RN since August 2011. Additionally, Shannon has been the Shared Governance Chair since November 2014. Between August 2012 and December 2014, Shannon contributed as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Boise State University. Prior roles include Charge RN in the Neuro ICU and Neurosurgical ICU RN, as well as travel nursing positions at Georgetown University and Banner Thunderbird. Shannon holds a Master's degree in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix and a BSN from Indiana University Northwest.
