Simon Morter

Simon Morter has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Simon is currently serving as the Head of Finance at STM Group PLC, where they manage a team responsible for financial reporting and oversees the implementation of a new accounting system. Simon is also responsible for managing the company's premises. Prior to this, they worked as the Financial Controller at GH Financials, where they led financial management and reporting for the group. Simon has also held positions such as Head of Finance at StormHarbour Securities LLP and DC Advisory. Simon started their career as an Accountant at Barclays Investment Bank and has also worked at Legal & General Investment Management and Cognetas. Simon has a strong background in financial control, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory filing. Simon is currently the Treasurer of the LGBTQ+ & Allies Branch at the Royal British Legion.
