Amad Diouf

Amad Diouf has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning engineering and operations. In 2019, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at the Centre de Recherche en Cancérologie de Marseille (CRCM), where they focused on classification benchmarking on high dimensional omics data. Amad selected and compared various classification methods to develop interpretable predictive models. In 2020, they joined Gustave Roussy - INSERM U981 as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they conducted a biomarker discovery project in breast cancer for hard-to-treat cases. Amad collected and preprocessed genomic datasets, performed model building with regression-focused machine learning strategies, and optimized feature selection analyses. Since 2023, they have been working as an Operations Associate at Stockly.

Amad Diouf obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Université Libre de Tunis (ULT) in the years 2011-2014. Subsequently, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Knowledge, and Data from the University of Montpellier from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Amad acquired a certification in TOEIC (920/990) from ETS in June 2013.
