Maiju Niskanen

Maiju Niskanen has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Maiju started their career as a Seasonal Sales Person at Stockmann in 1997 and worked there until 1999. Maiju then joined Stockmann again in 2000 as an Export Forwarding Assistant. In 2001, they worked as a Substitute at KONE Corporation. Maiju returned to Stockmann and held multiple roles including Buying Assistant, Executive Assistant, Department Manager, and Buyer for Youth Fashion. From 2009 to 2016, they worked at Lindex, initially as a Business Controller and later as a Country Controller and finally as a Country Manager. In 2016, they returned to Stockmann as the Director of Store Operations and was promoted to the role of Category Director for Women's Fashion and Design Studio in 2020.

Maiju Niskanen obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Law from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, where they studied from 1997 to 2004. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law from HSE Helsinki School of Economics (Aalto University) during the same period.
