Yvette Hansbury-Robinson

Yvette Hansbury-Robinson is the assistant principal of student experience and support at Stockport College. Yvette has been working in education for over 25 years, starting as a clerk and cashier at Halifax before becoming a programme leader and lecturer at Leek College. In 2000, they took on the role of head of curriculum for humanities at Cheshire College - South & West, where they remained until 2009. During their time at Cheshire College - South & West, they also became the international programmes manager, responsible for creating and leading the college's international provision. In this role, they travelled overseas to generate business and worked with other managers to recruit and support international students. Yvette also created new programmes alongside the curriculum teams to ensure all students benefited from a diversity of cultures. Hansbury-Robinson is committed to ensuring all students have access to quality education and strives to contribute to the financial stability of the college.
