Dana Assanova has a diverse work experience in design and leadership roles. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Student Design Consultant for The Sorrell Foundation, where they collaborated with young people, students, and professional designers to improve the quality of life in schools through good design. In 2011, they joined Clearview Capital as a Graphic Designer, responsible for conceptualizing and designing graphic applications for various business sectors. From 2014 to 2015, Dana worked as a Web Designer at Webicom, consulting with clients and creating visually appealing websites. In 2015, they became a UX Designer at JSC "Kazpost", leading the UI/UX process and vision for digital projects, and adopting a user-centered design approach. They then joined EPAM Systems in 2018 as an Experience Designer, contributing to the development of user-friendly products until 2022. In 2021, Dana became the Lead Product Designer at StockRepublic, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in product design. In 2022, they also took on the role of Chapter Leader at Ladies, Wine & Design, showcasing their commitment to fostering creativity and community.

Dana Assanova pursued their education in the field of design, with a focus on interior design and architecture. Dana first attended London Metropolitan University from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a foundation degree in Architecture and Interior design. Building on this foundation, Dana then enrolled in the University of the Arts London, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Interior Design from 2007 to 2010.
