Martin Barrie has over 25 years of work experience in the hospitality industry. Martin has held various managerial positions in reputable companies such as Stoke on Trent College, Namco Trafford Centre Manchester, Britannia Hotels Ltd, Holiday Inn Express London Greenwich, Kew Green, Whitbread, Everards Brewery, Starburst, and European Leisure. Martin'sroles have included Head of Property and Facilities, Food and Beverage Specialist, General Manager, and Cluster General Manager. Martin has showcased their leadership skills by successfully managing hotels with high revenues and profits, implementing refurbishment programs, and building strong customer relationships.

Martin Barrie attended Dartford North West Kent Tec from 1980 to 1982, where they studied Hospitality Management. Afterward, they enrolled at Highfield Secondary School in Chatham Kent. Martin obtained O level Art and O level Food and Nutrition, and also completed CSE in English, Maths, and Science. Additionally, in September 2010, Martin Barrie obtained the Common Purpose 360 Graduate certification from Common Purpose institution.
