Steve Sawbridge

Steve Sawbridge currently serves as a Governor and Committee Chair at Stoke on Trent College, focusing on Curriculum, Quality, and Standards since June 2017. Previously, Steve held the role of Regional Representative for the West Midlands on the AoC Governors' Council from February 2020 to January 2023 and was the Regional Director for the Association of Colleges from June 2007 to June 2017, where responsibilities included representing 45 colleges and developing membership services. Additional experience includes leading strategic partnerships at the Quality Improvement Agency for Lifelong Learning and managing quality development programs at the Learning and Skills Council. Steve has a strong academic background with a forthcoming PhD in Urban History from the University of Leicester and previous MA degrees in Garden and Landscape History from the University of London and Education Management from the University of Wolverhampton.
