Christopher Heistand is currently the Vehicle Software Senior Manager at Stoke Space, leading the combined flight and ground software team. Prior to their current role, Christopher served as the Flight Software Architect at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory for NASA's DART mission. Before that, Christopher was the Development Branch Lead at the United States Air Force where Christopher led a team in software and hardware engineering, designed and tested rapid capabilities, and integrated hardware and software for space control. Christopher holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
