Aditya Venkatesh

Aditya Venkatesh has a strong background in scientific research and development. Aditya began their career at UMass Medical School, where they worked as a Ph.D. Candidate from June 2011 to May 2016. During this time, they also gained experience in business development as a Business Development Intern from January 2015 to December 2015.

Aditya then joined Idera Pharmaceuticals in June 2016 as a Research Scientist, where they continued to develop their research skills. In January 2018, they were promoted to Senior Research Scientist before leaving the company in March 2018.

Since April 2018, Aditya has been working at Stoke Therapeutics, a biotechnology company. Aditya started as a Senior Scientist and held this role until June 2021. Aditya then became a Principal Scientist from July 2021 to December 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Principal Scientist.

Aditya Venkatesh completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences from UMass Chan Medical School, covering the period from 2010 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Anna University, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. Aditya has also obtained additional certifications in various subjects. In December 2022, they completed a Mini-MBA in BioPharma Innovation from Rutgers University–New Brunswick. Furthermore, in September 2022, they obtained a certification in Management Fundamentals Online from McLean & Company. Lastly, in July 2022, Aditya received a certification in Accounting Foundations from LinkedIn.
