Tony Sampognaro, MS, MBA, CAPM

Tony Sampognaro, MS, MBA, CAPM has a diverse range of work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Tony recently joined Stoke Therapeutics in 2023 as the Director of CMC Project Management. Prior to that, they worked at KSQ Therapeutics, Inc. from 2021 to 2023, where they held the position of Associate Director of Oligonucleotide CMC. In this role, Tony was responsible for various CMC aspects, including the development, manufacturing, and supply of sgRNA oligonucleotides for CRISPR/Cas9 adoptive cell therapy programs.

Before joining KSQ Therapeutics, Tony worked at Enanta Pharmaceuticals from 2019 to 2021, first as a Principal Scientist and then as a CMC Program Manager. Tony'sresponsibilities included managing CMC programs and providing technical leadership. Tony also worked at Veranova from 2016 to 2019, starting as a Staff Chemist and later becoming a Senior Chemist.

Tony has extensive experience in the industry, having previously worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2005 to 2015 as a Research Scientist II, and at Curia (formerly AMRI) from 2000 to 2005, also as a Research Scientist II. Tony began their career at AstraZeneca in 1996 as a Co-op Research Assistant, gaining valuable experience during their time there.

Throughout their career, Tony has demonstrated expertise in project management, CMC development, and regulatory strategy. Tony'sstrong technical and leadership skills have contributed to the successful execution of various programs and the delivery of uninterrupted clinical supplies.

Tony Sampognaro, MS, MBA, CAPM, has an extensive education history. Tony obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from Rochester Institute of Technology. Tony then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry from the same institution. Tony furthered their education by completing an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Rochester Institute of Technology.

In addition to their academic achievements, Tony has also obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification from the Project Management Institute in 2021. Tony has also pursued a Mager Certification in Instructional Design, although the institution and date of completion are not provided.
