Bjarke Degn Nissen

Bjarke Degn Nissen is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director at Stolt Tankers since January 2020. Nissen has been with Stolt-Nielsen Limited since April 1993, holding the positions of Business Director and Senior Vice President. Prior experience includes roles as a Shipbroker at Clarksons Platou from 1991 to 1993 and as a Management Trainee at A.P. Moller - Maersk from 1989 to 1991. Nissen began a career in the military, serving as a Lieutenant in Forsvaret from 1986 to 1989. Nissen completed education at Morsoe Gymnasium from 1983 to 1986 and is currently pursuing a GMP11 degree at Harvard Business School since 2011.
