James Laurito

James Laurito has an extensive and diverse work experience. James is currently serving as the Corporate Director at Bowman Consulting since May 2021, where they also chair the Compensation Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee. In January 2022, they joined ITC Holdings Corp. as a Corporate Director and a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee. James is also an Operating Partner at Energy Impact Partners, a corporate venture capital group focused on advancing the transition to sustainable energy. Additionally, they hold the position of Corporate Director at Anesi Gas Heat Pumps (SMTI - Stone Mountain Technologies), a leading developer of high-efficiency heat pump technologies. James is also an Industrial Advisor at EQT Group since June 2022.

Before their current roles, James Laurito had a significant tenure at Fortis Inc., where they served as the Executive Vice President of Business Development and Chief Technology Officer from April 2016 to December 2021. Prior to that, they held executive positions at Central Hudson, including President & CEO from October 2014 to April 2016 and President from November 2009 to October 2014. James also served as the President & CEO of New York State Electric & Gas and Rochester Gas & Electric from May 2003 to August 2009. Earlier in their career, James was the President of Southern Connecticut Gas Corp from October 2000 to May 2003.

James Laurito earned their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University, where they attended from 1974 to 1978. Later, in 1995 and 1996, they pursued Executive Programs at Columbia University, focusing on Finance and Manufacturing Management.
