David Gonzalez

David Gonzalez has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and engineering. David is currently employed at Stoneridge as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, where they started in 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Cooper Standard as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer from 2019 to 2023. Before joining Cooper Standard, David worked at Stoneridge as a Senior Customer Quality Engineer from 2017 to 2019. David also has experience at Ford Motor Company as an Incoming Quality Engineer Leader from 2012 to 2017. David's earlier work experience includes roles at ACUÍCOLA SAYRI as an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor in 2011 and at Micro-Macro Dispositivos as a Project Technical Assistant in 2007. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated a strong focus on ensuring quality and has engaged in activities such as debugging and troubleshooting, error prevention, and using standardized methodologies to ensure quality.

David Gonzalez attended the Instituto Tecnologico de Cajeme (ITESCA) from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Mecatronica. Prior to that, they attended the Universidad Tecnologica de Hermosillo (UTH) from 2005 to 2007 and earned a degree in Electronica. In terms of additional certifications, they received numerous certifications from the AIAG - Automotive Industry Action Group, including 8D trouble shooting, AMEF, MSA, PPAP and APQP, and SPC, all obtained in October 2019. David also obtained certifications in ISO/TS16949 2009 and Ford customer especific requirements from Ford Motor Company in June 2014. In August 2012, they received a six sigma Green Belt certification from Ford Motor Company and in July 2012, they obtained a certification in 8D trouble shooting from the same company. Additionally, they obtained a Certified ISO 14000 certification from Ford Motor Company in February 2011. Finally, they received the Cisco 1 y 2 certification from Cisco in April 2006.
