Chuck Tapert

Chuck Tapert has a wealth of work experience in the insurance and benefits industry. Chuck started their career in 1983 as a Special Agent at Northwestern Mutual, where they worked until 1988. In that role, they gained valuable experience in sales and client management.

In 1988, Tapert founded StoneTapert Insurance Services, where they served as the President and CEO. Chuck built a reputation for replacing marginal employee benefit brokers and helping companies save money on employee benefits while still attracting top talent. Chuck led the company for over 30 years until their departure in 2022.

Tapert also held the position of President at StoneTapert Employee Benefits, a subsidiary of StoneTapert Insurance Services, during the same period.

Currently, Tapert serves as the President of Benefits America, LLC, a position they assumed in 2022.

Chuck Tapert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance from Arizona State University, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Prior to their university education, they attended La Salle High School. In addition to their formal education, Chuck Tapert holds a certification as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) from The American College of Financial Services, obtained at an unspecified time.
