Amit Naker is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of API and Middleware Development at StoneX Group Inc. since August 2025. Prior to this role, Amit held various positions at IG Group from May 2007 to July 2025, including Interim Head of Trading Platform Technology and Head of Technology Risk and Control, where significant achievements included a technology transformation that saved £8M and achieved 100% platform uptime, alongside a notable reduction of audit findings by 85%. Additionally, Amit established a 24/7 Security Operations function, reduced incident ticket backlogs, and implemented cost-cutting measures while enhancing service quality. Earlier in the career, Amit worked at Selestia Investments Limited as a System Test Analyst and has a strong academic background from London South Bank University and Friern Barnet Grammar School.
