Frank McGovern

Frank McGovern is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security architecture and strategy, currently serving as the Director of Security Architecture and Strategy at StoneX Group Inc. since November 2020. McGovern has previously held roles as Chief Security Architect and Cybersecurity Architect within the same organization, providing architectural strategy and oversight for cybersecurity initiatives in a multinational context. In addition to current advisory roles with early-stage startups at Redpoint and as Co-Founder and Advisory Board Chairman of Blue Team Con, McGovern has served as a Cybersecurity Advisor, Mentor, and Trainer with the Marine Corps Cyber Auxiliary. McGovern’s career includes significant positions at The Walsh Group, where foundational cybersecurity policies were developed, as well as earlier roles in networking and IT support. Educational credentials consist of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance and multiple certifications from SANS Technology Institute.
