Karen Carvalho

Karen Carvalho is a seasoned mentor and consultant with extensive experience in innovation and project management across various industries. Currently serving as a mentor at Founder Institute and as a consultant for EMBRAPII and JMK Gestão Empresarial, Karen specializes in startup mentorship and evaluation of innovation projects. Previously, as Country BD Head at Boomitra, responsibility included business development in carbon credit projects. Karen's previous roles included Global Innovation Manager at Bunge, where project management and new technology identification were key, and similar positions focused on innovation and quality assurance at notable companies such as Louis Dreyfus Company, Central de Alcool Lucelia Ltda, and Cia. Cacique de Café Solúvel. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and has pursued multiple executive education programs from prestigious institutions, such as INSEAD and Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
