Christy Chan

Christy Chan is currently an Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident at Stony Brook Medicine, beginning in July 2024. Previously served as a Clinical Research Assistant at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from July 2018 to July 2020, where responsibilities included managing clinical research studies, patient consent, data collection, and aiding in grant application processes. Christy gained substantial academic experience at Trinity College-Hartford, serving as a Teaching Assistant in Adolescent Psychology and General Chemistry, as well as a First-Year Mentor and Electrophysiology Research Assistant. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with honors in Neuroscience from Trinity College-Hartford. Early career roles involved leadership as Head Counselor at Manhattan Youth and teaching as a Counselor at Immigrant Social Services, Inc.
