Jorge Alves

Jorge Alves, M.S., currently serves as the Data and Health Informatics Manager at Stony Brook Medicine, a position held since December 2016, wherein responsibilities encompass leadership of the WTC Health Programs, oversight of informatics projects, and collaboration with various departments to enhance data integrity and patient care. Jorge Alves has progressed through several roles within Stony Brook Medicine, including IT and Data Manager for the Stony Brook Responder Vaccine Program and Informatics Project Supervisor. Prior experience includes an Informatics Intern position at the same institution and roles in customer service and bookkeeping at various organizations.
