Melanie Keister

Melanie Keister serves as the Associate Director of Technology and Resources for the Long Island Network for Clinical and Translational Science at Stony Brook Medicine, where responsibilities include spearheading the implementation of electronic tools for data and clinical research, managing the TriNetX real-world data platform, and developing HIPAA-compliant processes for researcher data access and subject recruitment. Previous roles at Stony Brook Medicine involved activities as an Outreach Partner within the Community Engagement Network, and as a Clinical Data Specialist enhancing clinical data access for research. Melanie's extensive background includes positions as Lead Clinical Research Associate at Clinimetrics and Acting Project Leader at Cato Research Ltd., where management of clinical trials and communication across multiple teams were central functions. Melanie holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
