Michele Vallone

Director, Communications at Stony Brook Medicine

Michele Vallone has a wide range of work experience spanning over three decades. Michele began their career as a Television News Reporter at WLIG-TV 55 in 1990 and worked there for a year. Michele then moved on to Harrison and Star, where they served as an Account Supervisor from 1992 to 1997, focusing on women's health and oncology-related accounts. Following that, they joined Sciens Worldwide Public Relations Inc as a Senior Account Supervisor from 1997 to 1998. In 1998, Michele joined Stony Brook Medicine and held various roles, including News Writer, Public Relations, and Director, Publications, during their nine-year tenure. Michele continued their journey at Stony Brook Medicine, taking up the positions of Director, Communications and Marketing Manager, Cardiovascular Service Line in 2010, which they currently hold.

Michele Vallone has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Healthcare Policy and Management from Stony Brook University. They also obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology.
