Brian Kerr

Brian Kerr, Ed.D., currently serves as the Interim Academic Program Director and Adjunct Lecturer for the Higher Education Administration Program at Stony Brook University. From March 2021 to October 2023, Brian held the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management & Student Affairs at John Jay College (CUNY). Prior to that, Brian spent nearly 17 years at Queensborough Community College, where leadership roles included Vice President for Student Affairs, Dean of Student Development, and Director of Academic Advisement, among others. Brian is well-versed in managing multiple student affairs departments and has extensive experience in educational partnerships and articulation agreements. Brian's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from St. John's University, as well as a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University at Albany.
